The release of Tales from Los Cabos is planned for May 7 … Time is running out, there’s still so much to do, so much to check. I already pushed the deadline back a month (the original release was planned for the first week of April), so now I am determined to meet this deadline.
Why are they called different short stories? Well, some of them are different and some of them aren’t, and then again, perhaps they are just a nice collection of short stories based on my life in Los Cabos 🙂 What is different anyway? … Life can certainly be adventurous here and when I first arrived in Los Cabos in 1998, things often seemed to be like the Wild West.
Do I have memories! And it is wonderful to share those memories with the people who have been there with me in those early days in Cabo. It is even much better to share them with the rest of the world.
So, stay tuned. I can’t wait to release this trove of tales; tales of adventure, nights in Cabo San Lucas, the life of those annoying timeshare representatives (lol, who hasn’t tried to get away from them?), anything that can go wrong (and sometimes right) in a date, unlikely couples ending up together, a night in a hurricane, a dog rescue story, and a little (true) story about the rescue of a spider monkey (Yes, I am the one who saved her, and that spider monkey is now living in a beautiful sanctuary and she always hugs me when I come. She is a wonderful, sweet little monkey, my lovely, furry friend, and I love her).
Last but not least, there is also a little ghost tale, and a story of some people being quite naughty – hey, what happens in Cabo, stays in Cabo, that’s what they say 🙂
I wrote many of those stories between 1998 and 2001, and some more in 2018. I have wanted to publish them for a long time – as you can tell – and I am excited and happy to be finally able to do so.
